In the case manager role, you are responsible for ensuring the clients' files are accurate, complete and in compliance at all times with the VA guidelines regarding the Aid and Attendance pension. Communicating regularly with the clients and the VA, and continuing to communicate clearly with the client in regards to the loan (0% interest) repayment throughout the entitlement process and while the client remains active with Veterans Home Care. It is critical for the case managers to be able to operate independently on a regular basis, while still operating within a team as necessary.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Discussing financial information with clients regularly
  • Documenting information in the CRM
  • Extensive telephone and data entry work

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree, or two years' equivalent insurance or financial experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, such as bank statements
  • Ability to write basic correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word and Excel

  

Full time day shift, 8:00am 5:00pm, Monday Friday
